This is a vintage stained glass piece featuring cats and butterflies made by the now-discontinued American company Glass Masters.

A cute cat is depicted gazing at a butterfly.

The flat glass has an undulating surface, coloured with transparent enamel painting, and the frame is made of metal.

And because they are handmade and have been fired, the colour will not fade even over the years.

The words (C)GLASSMASTERS 1983 and made in USA are printed on the bottom right side of the frame.

When held up to the light, this stained glass is astonishingly beautiful, with elegant colors and presence.

This piece has a hole at the top for hanging on the wall, so it can be used for a variety of purposes.

The Glass Masters of the Stained Glass Guild (commonly known as Glass Masters, Inc.) is based in Richmond, Virginia, USA, and produces replicas of famous paintings and artworks. They have received replica orders from many art galleries and museums, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Folger Shakespeare Library, the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, and even Disney, and their replicas are sold in a variety of shops.

Sadly, it closed down in 2005.
